The original thatched Three Boars public house dated from the 17th Century.  It was seriously damaged by fire in 1926.

After the fire in 1926, the Three Boars public house was patched up with a corrugated iron roof.

The village shop at the bottom of Station Road circa 1912.  It closed in 1990 and is now a private dwelling.
